Some around-mouth measurements differed with passive simulated trays present in 40 adults during the same visit, without attachments. Responses varied; posture could influence measurements.
Does this prove permanent jaw change?
No. An adult's appearance with trays is not proof of permanent jaw change. The experiment found measurement differences within a visit, rather than following active treatment. It does not show that this adult's teeth moved, appearance changed visibly or jaw changed permanently.
